About Me: Career Air Force NCO.......for 20+ years. Have bowled for 34 years...back when balls could not "hook out of the box". First ball......Red Cranberry Galaxy 300 from K-Mart. First good ball was a Brunsick urethane Manta..shot a 290 with it at 14.......thought I was hot $h!t! Have been hindered with a back injury for the past 2 years, but have coached HS bowling for the past 5 years....3rd in the Texas HS finals, and 2 State Championships with (and I know some will disagree) the best team in Nebraska..the BELLEVUE WEST THUNDERBIRDS! We had a team that was awesome....and showed everyone, including the teams from Lincoln that we were the best! My son is a freshman over in Lincoln and is on the bowling team there. He is taking his lumps as a "newbie" after being a HS stud for 4 years! :)
Music: A little country, alot of 70/80/90 rock and roll, and suprisingly the newer alternative.........Nickelback!
Movies: Anything with Eastwood, sports, etc.
TV: Mostly ESPN..........KC Chiefs, KANSAS JAYHAWKS, and of course the NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS.
Likes: Love to bowl and Golf....when the back is good......also love the serenity and competiveness of tangling with Largemouth bass.
Dislikes: Arrogant people.......also "No Rights No Wrongs" type of people. There has to be a line.......no situational ethics here.
Hobbies: I own my own dental laboratory...for those who are confused, that is making teeth.....gold ones, porcelain ones, retainers for those that get braces off, etc. I still enjoy coaching........but have laid out a year since my son went to college. I do watch my teenage daughter and my incredibly INTENSE 9 year old. I will get back into it again....just have to recharge the batteries. As mentioned above bass fishing and golf.
Vices: Chewing tobacco...........and lately I have become a beer taster...........just sometimes it tastes TOO GOOD! :)
